In response to the comment on this topic regarding the Covid-19 advice from Golf Australia regarding players who refuse to conform on the topic above:

Queensland State Government Covid regulations provide penalties of $1,334 for an individual and $6,670 for a club/business who do not comply with the regulations.

Club committees can be held liable if they do not enforce the regulations. Committees must be seen to take action against individuals who do not comply.

Individuals should be firstly warned and have the regulations explained to them. If an individual persists in breaching the regulations the committee has the ability to suspend or cancel their membership.
